HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! David and his helper just did a home service line repair and range hookup. Both were leaking; Centerpoint did an inspection and shut off the gas. The Katy Plumbing team were prompt, polite, and professional from the initial receptionist scheduling the next day service to their on-site service technicians. They worked with me on the price, and did a proper job, no shortcuts! This is a company I would definitely use again for any of my plumbing needs.

Victor was awesome - emergency after-hours leak in the wall from the AC condensation drain overflowing due to a poor connection into a clogged drainage line for my guest bathroom sinks. Victor and his assistant were thorough, kind, and quick to assess and repair. He sent detailed reports with electronic receipts to my email to be able to relay to my contractor to fix the wall damage after. We have been using Katy Plumbing for many plumbing needs over the past 5+ years (new water heater, new water filtration, clear drain backups, new faucets, hook up new gas oven, and more). We have always had excellent service, and every technician is licensed, very knowledgeable, and respectful of our home (and they always wear shoe coverings!). Michael Nieland, who just installed a new bathroom vanity and rerouted our HVAC drain line down from the attic to this closer bathroom, did an excellent job and is very talented! Finally decided to upgrade my tankless water heater after a year of debating. Got a quote from Katy Plumbing a year ago — decided to get a quote again a year later after misplacing my prior quote. George (the owner) called me to talk me out of having somebody come out to re-quote the same job, reminded me of the quote from last year, and actually knocked a good chunk off the original quote if I decided to proceed. I guess it’s good that I was talking to the owner!Peter was the technician who came out for the install. His arrival was on time, and he was very professional throughout. Install was completed quickly, and he took the time to answer ALL of my questions (and I had a lot!). Peter is super friendly and I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone.Katy Plumbing may not be the cheapest option around, but my experience is that they are professional, honest, and reliable. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and I feel I got a great bang-for-the-buck with them.

Erick came on a weekend day to attend to a serious, inside-an-outer-wall pipe leak that had apparently been at it for quite a long time. It wasnt a simple fix, but he analyzed what needed to be done to assure that the fix would be in place for many years to come. Came back from Spring Break with water leaking from both water heaters. Called Katy Plumbing and within 2 hrs on a Sunday, they had Saul at our house to assess the situation and give us a quote. It wasn’t cheap, but for 2 heaters in the attic that have never had service in their 11 yrs on the job, it was reasonable. Saul and his assistant Leo did a quick and professional job and we are very happy to recommend Katy Plumbing to anyone.

Unfortunately we had a crack in the main water service pipe to our house. Katy Plumbing scheduled Jose Perez for the next day to make the necessary repairs. Jose was great! He came at the scheduled time and looked over the issue and literally dug into the issue and also addressed the concerns we had with the shut off valve being old and always sitting in water. Water line was fixed and he raised the valve, so no more sticking my hand down a dark hole full of water to shut the water off. Thank you Jose and Katy Plumbing for taking care of our water line.

Had Katy Plumbing out to unclog a kitchen drain and Michael did a great job. He explained the process and cost, was done quickly, and cleaned up everything. I got a very good experience working with Ryan. He was professional, polite, easy to talk to as well as having answered all my questions. The work done was very detailed and the leak issue was properly fixed. They also warranty their work for 1 year. Overall Im satisfied with the service provided.

David, from Katy Plumbing, provided great communication, was on time, very professional, and quoted us a fair price without any pressure about financing or signing a contract. Miguel Garcia came out on an emergency call to us after a sewer line backed up into our house. Not a fun clean up. A cracked pipe by the company that was digging for the fiber optics cables was located pretty quickly with a camera. He was absolutely phenomenal. Super informative and very friendly; worked very quickly to find the issue. Highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs.

I called Katy Plumbing Co as it was referred to me by a friend. This would be my first experience with them. I explained my situation and they scheduled-sent someone out the very next day.The plumber (Victor) showed up on time and was professionally dressed. I explained my situation, which was complex. Essentially, I needed a gas pipe for a new oven relocated about 5 inches and lowered about 3 inches. The gas pipe is located on the 2nd floor, in 3 story townhouse. So it very difficult to access. The plumber explained what he needed to do, which involved cutting the floor open so he could access the pipes; I understood and agreed. He was very knowledgeable and quickly developed a game plan. We measured the spacing where the oven went, and measured the oven dimensions to ensure a proper fit and pipe relocation.His workmanship was awesome!! The following day, after a visit from an electrician, for some re-wiring, the new oven was installed. No gas leaks, everything works great and fits perfectly.Thank you Katy Plumbing Co and Victor, for the fantastic work. Victor with Katy Plumbing was outstanding! We had an issue with the flow of hot water in our master bath tub. Another plumber said they would have to break the tile and cut into the wall to get to the pipes and solve the problem. Victor checked the hot water tank and an auto flood stop was tripped. He pushed a button, turned it on and problem solved definitely saving us $$$! We did have him work on some other things and was quick and efficient! If we could, we would give him 6 stars. Was a really nice man with a lot of plumbing experience! Highly recommend!

The other day my how water heater went out. I set up an appointment on Katy Plumbings website on the same day. Troy showed up within 3 hours, gave me an estimate and got me set up with financing. First the next morning they showed up with a new water heater, new pan, new everything. And because my water heater is in the attic, they had a roofer come out and put in a new vent. From start to finish it was less than 2 hours. Fantastic service and a great experience.

Jacob did a fantastic job of repairing a faucet leak and replacing a stuck bathtub drain plug. He thoroughly explained the causes for these plumbing issues, the potential damage mineral deposits and chemicals can cause to our homes and health, then demonstrated a before/after example of how much better water flows when hard water deposits are removed. He specializes in whole house filtration systems and showed me several options. Very soft sale, no pressure, and I’ll definitely be hiring Jacob to install a whole home water filtration system in the very near future. Katy Plumbing has been awesome to work with. They arrive on time and make sure everything is in good working order before they leave. After Beryl, we decided to buy a generator. Had 4 different companies give an estimate and when could it be installed. The estimates were higher than KP and none could be installed and running before the end of the year. Mark D. once again provided fantastic service. I have used him both at the church I pastor and now at my house. The arrived quickly for an immediate problem, carefully explained the issue and explained their service plan. Completed the repair even making sure our housecleaner didnt need any more water before he shut things down. He also explained how I could keep a problem with the AC drains into our upstairs bathrooms from clogging.

Zee and Cameron definitely earned my respect for their professionalism and friendly attitudes on my 30-minute plumbing job. Zee explained in detail each step of the way. I needed the cartridges in both my primary bathroom faucets replaced as well as switched out a kitchen aerator and shower head with original parts. In and out in 30-minutes and cleaned up the areas as well.

Had a 15 y/o water heater needing replacement. Jose was great on the diagnosis, and discussion of the options. Once we decided, he returned and had the new one in and working in no time. He even arranged to have a roofer come & reseal the external vents. Kudos to Jose & the Katy Plumbing team!

Angel arrived on time, worked efficiently, and even offered some helpful suggestions that I decided to follow. The company also offers an annual fee plan, which provides access to a technician anytime in case of an emergency—like having 911 for plumbing!

When it’s August in Houston and your air conditioning stops working you’re in trouble…and many times you call companies who can’t get to you for days, especially when your unit breaks on a weekend as ours had. Thank goodness, good fortune smiled upon me because only about a week or so before the unit failed, I had signed up for the annual service agreement with Katy Plumbing Company Heating and Air. Knowing I had this, I called and spoke to a lady named Linda. She was so very understanding and helpful—not the typical “sorry you’re in a bad place sir but we do not have a technician available for 3-4 days”….. No, Linda was empathetic and she had one of their top A/C technicians, Mr. Roberto Montelongo at my home as quickly as possible. Roberto was very polite and very kind. He diagnosed the problem and it turns out it was a short in my compressor. My unit was under warranty, so he took the time to find the right replacement compressor and then even drove to the distributor shop to pick it up himself on Saturday Morning before they closed at Noon . He got my compressor and brought it back to my house. He explained to me that he had called his supervisor to get permission to install it right then because they normally did not do installations like this until Monday. Knowing I had a whole house full of people he got permission to do what was best for my family and I so appreciate that!!!! Roberto explained to me that he used to install whole units for many years before he became a service technician so installing my new compressor was something he was very experienced at doing. He did a great job getting the system working again, all within a couple of hours. He took the time to explain to me exactly what he was doing during each step—I wanted to see what Roberto was doing out of curiosity as to how they replace a compressor. Because of the team work at Katy Plumbing Company Heating and Air between Linda and Roberto and Roberto’s Supervisor (whoever that may be) I had a working system again as quickly as was possible. If you don’t have a service agreement with Katy Plumbing Co. Heating and Air you should get one. It could really save you….just like mine did within only about a week or so of purchasing it. Pedro T did a fine job for me repairing my backflow that was damaged in the last freeze - the pipe was cracked (metal) and the whole thing needed replacing. He was thorough with explanation and was able to do work right there on the spot. I asked him to check auto-fill for pool as well and he said it was good giving me explanation on how it works all without additional charge. He didnt try to push or offer anything additional that I didnt need. That meant a lot for their reputation in my eyes.

I had Zee replace my water softener. Hew went over what he wanted to do and a few hours later he was done and life is good! Highly recommend Katy plumbing and heating. They have a customer for life

Zee and Gavin came out a few hours after my call. They were great and quickly found my leak in the wall, got in there and had it fixed within minutes. They answered all my questions honestly (I have a pretty good amount of knowledge myself) and even gave me recommendations on various contractors to do the drywall repair and potential remodeling. It is a Saturday so there was an after hours fee to just show up and additional charges for the service. It was very expensive for the amount of time but, I paid for their knowledge, expertise, equipment, and urgency so I’m fine with it. Overall great experience and would recommend.

Luke and his partner were fantastic. They were actually ahead of scheduled time but I was running late and they waited for me. I can’t be more appreciative of them waiting the extra 10 minutes. Once inside they got to work immediately they had the drain cleared in 10 minutes it was rather amazing. They even suggested some tactics to keep the lines clean and some monthly maintenance to do for that. All in all great job.

Paul did a fabulous and well thought out job repairing a broken in-ground pipe to our sprinkler system. He assessed the problem thoroughly and , with engineering ingenuity, he restructured the chamber it is located in to perform with little to no chance of breaking again. Last Sunday night, I had a big plumbing problem that could not wait until Monday. A neighbor told me to call Katy Plumbing because they had Nighttime Emergency Service. Within 45 minutes of my calling Katy Plumbing, their Emergency Plumber, Troy Divin, was ringing my doorbell. Troy is a 3rd generation Plumber. He is very professional and knowledgeable with good manners. Not once did he complain. Troy did an amazing job, and hes a great person, too. It had been raining, and it was pitch black dark so he was walking through patches of mud in the backyard with two curious dogs following him. Not once did he complain about the dogs. Troy uses top of the line equipment. He used a sonar type gadget to find an outside pipe that was causing our problem. He found it by walking through the house with the sonar beeping over the pipes which led to the pipe outside. Without that equipment, the pipe couldnt be found because someone had covered that pipe. The pipe had been invaded with roots from a bush. Troy removed the pipe and replaced it with a new one. Price was reasonable for a Sunday night. Troy was great!!

I bought a water heater at Lowes and they sent a plumber to install it. That plumber gave me a price to install of about $1700 dollars. When I was younger I have helped install water heaters and knew it should only take about 1 to 1.5 hours and felt that cost was not something I would pay. I called a few plumbing companys in my area(Katy, TX). Julian Lohse from Katy Plumbing was one of the first plumbers to show up with an estimate that was acceptable(much lower than the first guy) though it still seemed high for a job that should take less 2 hours. Julian was great. He did a great job on my water heater, even replaced the shutoff valve for the incoming water line which was leaking. Then he checked all the other lines, under my sinks, behind my washer everywhere and made recommendations. He was very nice and professional.

We had a backup of sewage coming up our pipes. Michael Nieland spent all afternoon figuring out our problem. He went above and beyond to make sure our problem was solved. He will be back to fix the break in our line. This was the day before Thanksgiving, so we were very thankful we were able to get it solved. Ryan with Katy Plumbing may have quite literally saved my family’s life! Ryan came to repair a leaking pipe and, while he was here, I had him do my annual whole house check that comes with their membership. He discovered that the flue pipes had become disconnected from the exhaust valves of my hot water heater in the attic, which meant carbon monoxide was leaking out! He explained that this probably happened when I had my roof replaced almost 2 years ago (they likely accidentally hit it out of place). Today I noticed a leak under my kitchen sink that was because of the new drain. I called them at eight am this morning however i was told Monday 8:00 am is soonest to come back out. Julian came out to initially investigate an intermittent small of gas coming from under the cabinet that houses our stove top. He quickly determined the cause, a corroded pipe bringing in gas to the stove. He was able to come out again a few days later to repipe this gas line for us. He also replaced our three leaking outdoor taps. Made sure to check out water heaters & gas fires were relit after turning back on the gas supply. He is a very polite man & carried out the work quickly & tidied up after himself. We were very happy that the issue has been resolved & will be using Katy Plumbing the next time we have any issues at the house.

Had a pipe break above my ceiling. Called them at about 630 pm, and they had their tech, Erick, at my house before 7:30 that evening. It was a big leak, but a minor repair. Overall excellent experience from the first phone call to the installation of the tankless water heater. This was the first time we used Katy Plumbing. All office personnel were friendly and helpful. Dallas our technician had a lot of experience and really took his time to explain and answer all our questions around the difference between a tankless vs tank hot water heater. We were on the fence and ultimately chose tankless. Installation was flawless. They kept the working area neat and clean. Post installation all trash was removed and Dallas explained some fundamentals about maintenance and upkeep. We couldn’t be happier and will definitely use Katy Plumbing again if needed.

Roosvel with Katy Plumbing was very knowledgeable and kind and professional. :-) We were VERY happy with him and his service.We subtracted a star because the price from Katy plumbing was HIGH compared to another company that did the exact same repair for us on our other a/c a year ago. Felt like we were being significantly overcharged.They were very responsive….and got in touch with me the same day I called, within just a few minutes of me calling/texting, and it was after hours , on a weekend.

Victor was great. Even showed up earlier than expected. Took care of my pipe issue quickly and I was back in business.

Definitely 5 stars! Julian came out to see why I had no hot water pressure in my kitchen. Being on a well I forget we get a lot of sediment build up. He explained my options 1) flush my hot water heater or 2) replace it. I did my research and since my water heater was 12 years old, I decided to replace. He was here 2 days later and replaced it within a couple hours. I now know I should drain it annually to extend the life. Thanks Julian.

Katy Plumbing is always professional and courteous. They document everything very well and dont overcharge like some other companies do. Highly recommend!

Arrived on time. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Clearly explained what needed to be done and the price. Completed job in about 45 minutes. Left job site in good order.
