Update, the company sent out a experienced technician who put a lock in, checked and toped off the freon as well as found that the previous tech had left the drain valve closed when checking it. Thank you to Brady Gipson for double checking everything. I did ask that if they sent another new up and coming technician to my home that they send a supervisor or trainer with them. They understood and I really appreciate the mutual communication I have with this company. I am very honest and direct but also understanding too. March 2025, time for spring clean and inspection. I had a new technician,Luis, who was so meticulous an checked every single thing. He advised it should take a couple hours when Ive had technicians in the past here only 30 min. Luis stayed in contact with his supervisor for all recommendations. I was worried when checking the blower Luis let out a large cloud of freon and had a little trouble closing it using his bare hand. He wasnt afraid but I was for him. They did have some recommendations and they do have a number of services available like duct disinfecting. I believe in supporting our up and coming. I plan to contact the office to make sure he is okay and that the freon level is topped off as well as a round plastic lock is replaced that was broken on a previous visit.11/11/2024 update! He did it again! Jacorey diagnosed a problem and solved it with my upgraded hvac sysyem. We had a high humidity and high reading. We contacted Jacorey, and he ran some checks and said he thought we should start with the thermostat. He tried to reset the thermostat that didnt work well, so we ordered one. Wow! Its been so nice since i installed it. Im not sure its worked this well. I have a dehumidifier inside my home, and it is not running all the time. Jacorey is your man! You can trust him not to try to just sell but really improve your air. My system is in great condition now with all his suggestions.Update! One hour arrived to update my system, as my technician Jacorey suggested. They put in a better large filter system and larger duct for the longest further bedroom that wasnt cooling well. I am highly pleased with this group of technicians. The upgrades were felt immediately! My daughter has been uncomfortable living in the front part of the home, and that is now solved. Not only cleaner air and more air movement, but they suspended the ducts so I could manage to get around them easier and safer. I do not know why the builder of these homes would put the smallest duct on the farthest rooms and branch them off, too. There was barely any air going through. Jacorey is my permanent technician now, and one hour is my company that will handle my hvac. The office ladies are fabulous and very customer service targeted. Thank you, Jacorey! For thoroughly checking and cleaning the system and then suggesting reasonable and affordable remedies to the problems. I hope they are paying you well! You are a gem!Jacorey and I hit it off personality wise great better yet he explained in detail what I could do to upgrade my system then to make his visit even more impressive he discovered an area of my system that had not been properly cleaned by a previous company so he cleaned it. Love this man, and his work ethic is notable. No playing with terms either a complete hvac is a whole system, not just half of it. Smart man.

Even after a long day at other jobs, Marcos showed up with a friendly smile and very helpful diagnostic insight. I’ve booked additional business with one hour ac in the future because I am confident I’m getting the right service after working with Marcos.

I’ve used One-Hour for a couple of years now for routine maintenance for our rental property. Technicians are always polite, professional, and transparent. If I have a special request (when I can’t be onsite during time of service) they do a fantastic job by following my instructions so that my tennets are taken care of.

Eduardo Leon was my HVAC technician today and did an outstanding job diagnosing my issue and repairing it in a timely manner. He was beyond helpful is sharing his knowledge about my HVAC system so that way I can prevent future issues and fix minor repairs. He did a great job explaining what caused the damage to my system and encouraged me to install surge protectors for the safety of the larger, more costly parts within the system, which I did have him install to prevent future damage. 10/10 HVAC technician that doesn’t hide the secrets of the trade or rip you off! Highly recommend him specifically but also the company as a whole, as I’ve used them in the past.

In less than 30 minutes he was able to diagnose our issue and offer a short-term solution while we waited for the full repair as we needed to order parts. Overall, very positive. Big plus to the company for providing expeditious help when really needed! Good diagnostics and the effort to fix the A/C problem by the technician. Almost perfect. Took quite a long time and there were some communication issues between the technician and his office personal besides a few minor nuances.

Very HONEST, knowledgeable, efficient. Another company came just before him and told me I blew the motherboard wanted $1300 ( I diy’d a new thermostat) Issac replaced the fuse on it and got me up and running in 30min or less!! I purchased the membership. Will definitely use this company again. Other companies need to take note.

I called One Hour Air Conditioning of Houston for my elderly mom (Im in NC) and they were amazing to work with. Joe Moreno helped install a new AC unit and heater and took such great care of my mom. They made sure to use the back door as requested since our front door was damaged. They also referred us to an electrician when they found our breaker panel was outdated and needed to be replaced too. They also followed up with us after the install. We passed inspection and I cannot recommend One Hour Air Conditioning enough!

Jacorey is very friendly, polite and kind. Not only does he do his job well, he asks if theres anything he can help with before he leaves. He put my trash cans up just out of a courtesy and I thought that was the sweetest thing. I asked if he could be my service person going forward. Everyone was great. Leaving another review, included are my original technician Chris along with the installers Christo (didnt catch the other fellas name)who installed the new HVAC. Only hiccup was a faulty thermostat right out of the box which Senior tech Winston fixed and overall very pleased with customer service over the phone & in person. Been with this company for years dating back to when they were named Hallmark.

The technicians did very good job, however, when my husband asked one of technician if its necessary to check all vent for air flow, he got a little inpatient with my husband. And his reply was we did all the change and air flow should be good.Nothing was tested before they leave the house.

The technician (Zuber), was very knowledgeable and was a great help. He took precautions upon entering the house. Also, he photographed and explained the whole procedure.

Luis was very polite and knowledgeable, he was able to trouble shoot and isolate the issue with my heater straight away, and he explained everything that he did in a clear concise manner.So I am updating my review. I was accidently double billed. And I have called three different times and each time I call no one in the billing department is available. So this is a big company, and I understand but three different calls to reverse an obvious double bill is ridiculous.Sadly all the good work my technician did has been lost because the corporation he works for is dropping the ball.Hopefully the company will refund me my money soon.

Ivan was great. Super knowledgeable and patient. He took his time to explain everything to me in great detail and went over all my options.I called OneHour when my AC motor went out today. I got lucky and they had a tech out within an hour or so. I do agree with many of the other reviews on the fact that the pricing is a bit much in comparison to what the actual parts cost and the fact that the labor was a little over 1 hour. I did become a member and saved a little on my service fee, and I’m hoping I dont regret doing so in the future.

The sales manager Joe is just awesome. So is Zuber. Both are very kind and very patient they worked with me for three hours a day we installed the next day.

We have had some suspicion about our AC unit and Joe came to check what the issue was. We were so impressed by Joes professionalism and good manner. He was VERY knowledgeable and obviously knows what he was talking about, gave us a thorough review of pros and cons to our next step. We can sense that Joe was a genuinely honest man who is there to help you. If youve got an AC issue, Id highly suggest that you ask for Joe and listen to his advice and suggestion. I had a quote from a different company telling me I needed a new system because the amount of current being drawn by the system was at its maximum. one Hour explained to me what it should show and then showed it to me in real time. He proceeded to tell me that the system doesn’t need to be replaced. That saved me over $10k for the time being. I’d recommend this company and will be doing future business with them.

One hour air & heating took care of us right away. From the technician who diagnosed the issue to the installation team. They were all very detailed and respectful not only to us but to our home. Every one of them wore shoe covers to enter our home each time. The installation team laid down drapes from the front door to the attic to catch any debris coming from the parts that were replaced. I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent work done at my home this weekend. My downstairs 4-ton home central AC/Heat Pump system (4-ton R22 heat pump from 2004) failed again, and it just no longer made sense to attemp another repair. Thomas, with the team at One Hour, came out the same day, assessed the situation. Jeffrey came out and made a study of the existing system and my home, and recommended some improvements on a new system, as well as an option to replace the upstairs 2-1/2 ton system. I had obtained two other quotes, and the detail and engineering Jeffrey put into this proposal was much better. I made the decision to proceed with Jeff’s design, and Roberto and his team arrived at my home, replaced both systems the very next day. They were efficient, safe and the workmanship was excellent. Both systems are working great now, the upstairs has never cooled like this in the summer. Energy consumption is noticably lower, so we hope to see some savings on our electric bill. Thank you!

Our power went out during hurricane Beryl. We started our generator that we have had for years but for some reason, our AC compressor would not run. I tried all my troubleshooting tricks and made the decision to call One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating of Houston. They were true to their name and scheduled a very fast appointment. My technician, Thomas arrived and was able to troubleshoot and get our system running, for a very reasonable cost. It began to rain while he was working and was patient enough to wait for the storm to quit so he could get us online. He didn’t just leave at that point. He took the time to check the rest of our system and make sure we were in good shape. I will definitely call you again if I need help.Follow up: after the power returned, I contacted One Hour again to have the system verified. Anthony did a great job getting our system up to speed. He was very knowledgeable and personable and did an outstanding job replacing the AC motor.He inspected the whole system and explained everything to me. He answered all my questions and believe me I had quite a few.One Hour has serviced my system every since we built our home in 2006, But this was the first time I had to call them at 3am. Guess what, a real live human being answered the phone and scheduled me for around noon later in the day.Great service. Great price.

This is the best AC company in the Houston area. I recently moved into a 6-year-old house that was having high humidity problems. One Hour was the third company that I called to try to fix the issue, and unlike the other two companies, they identified that I didnt have enough roof venting, which fixed the problem. Had my 1st maintenance service appointment today. They reached out to me to schedule and was very open to my availability. My service technician was Noah Paul. Very personable, professional, and thorough. Arrived at scheduled time and you could tell he took his time with servicing the unit. He went over all the numbers he pulled from the system and explained what they all meant. He was a pleasure to work with and provided an excellent customer experience.

I have an AC unit not functioning and after another company has come in twice, and after waiting two weeks for cool air in this 100 degree weather, I decided to get a second opinion.I called late in a Saturday and they were at my front door in under 2 hours to look at my AC unit.All that for $99.Well worth the investment to determine which direction I should go next.The technician (Joshua) was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.They maybe a little pricey for some, but you get what you pay for.

Had a great and professional experience with our tech. Dispatcher / customer service was very good and communicative. Gilberto, the tech, did a great job being transparent and communicating his findings effectively. Definitely using them going forward after not having a service in place for years up to this point. My only regret is not finding them sooner, it would have saved me money if I had.

Without the high pressure upselling approach, he demonstrated that which was burned out or had passed its useful life. I don’t normally post reviews on services but I had to do it for this experience. My AC went out so I called them and they fit me in earlier than they originally scheduled which was awesome. My kids were burning up sitting in the house. Bruce came out and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Never gave me the feeling like he was trying to hustle me or sell me stuff like other people usually do. He was so thorough on his inspection and diagnosis of my unit and went right to work after explaining everything to us. I have 2 HVAC systems in my home one for the upstairs and one for the downstairs. The upstairs unit was 12 years old, and was driving my electric Bill out of sight. I could have used the same old discount guy I had always used, and done a piece meal replacement of Parts as they were failing. This keeping costs sky-high and efficiency horrible. Last year, I bought a simple service contract from the guys at one hour heat and AC, where they come and take care of the basic needs of your systems, do system checks, and check for problems. Most cost are all included in that. And lo and behold, about five weeks ago, the condenser for the upstairs unit crapped out. Now I had to do something. I took a shot, and called one hour to have one of their advisors come out and do an assessment of my home. I can say nothing but positive things about all of their employees, courteous, professional, attentive, and available. I was a bit surprised when I got the estimate, because it was about 30% higher than I would have ever anticipated. But, I had only done piecemeal Replacements before, which is exactly why I was in the situation then. I then began to understand the quote that I got was for a complete system replacement. Absolutely everything. Roberto did the installation with his team over the course of a single day, and took absolutely everything out of my upstairs attic and replaced it with new equipment. All of a 10 year warranty, all back by carrier, and I am certain I will never have a problem with that again. I work in the service industry, and these guys know exactly what this is all about. I will soon have to have the downstairs unit replaced as well, and I know that Im going to get the exact same service again. Oh, by the way, my electric bill was down $200 last month already. And its a beautiful 74 degrees upstairs! You can try to find a cut-rate place to do it, but if you want the best and the best service, call One Hour Heating and AC!
