I usually do not write reviews, but had the pleasure of working with Ray from here. Super friendly, straightforward with the problems, easy to understand what he was explaining to me the issues with my AC. Thanks Ray for doing a spectacular job!

Have used them for quite a few years. Would not think of calling anyone else. Always get someone here as soon as they can. The technicians are friendly and knowledgeable.

This is an excellent company. I found them through my home warranty service and they are now my primary AC/Heating service. They are all incredibly professional, skilled, and affordable. Nothing is done without your approval. Everything is communicated diligently. The technicians are all kind and take the time to explain the problems and offer multiple solutions. They work with home warranty companies as well to get service at better prices due to coverage. Financing is easy and flexible. A huge bonus is that the owner goes into the field and does the work too. I had a problem and he was out next day personally to resolve it. Im a lifetime customer and Ive had my fair share of A/C companies. None compare to Efficiency Experts. They are truly excellent.

These guys get what service and quality of service are all about. Honest and reliable. Todd the owner has a wonderful team. We needed one of our air conditioners replaced 2 years ago. Super job was completed. This year our other unit stopped running. I called they were out to our home the next day. Todd got the unit going. I said it’s time for replacement. He gave us a quote, the came back the next week and did another super job, He did not charge us for the service call to get the old unit running to keep us cool. Juan and his crew (same team that replaced our other unit) arrived at 8am and had the new unit operating by 12:30. Courteous, clean, efficient, and good guys. Highly recommend these guys for all your AC needs.

Working with AHS and Efficiency Experts was such an easy process. Robert, the technician that diagnosed our coil leak. was on time, friendly and was effective in communicating the issue, options for repair as well as options to replace/upgrade our system. After obtaining some additional replacement quotes, we opted to repair our system. EE, specifically Cindy, worked with AHS and communicated everything to us that was needed, arranged payment and scheduled our replacement. The crew that repaired our unit was on time, professional and efficient in getting the work completed and getting us cool. We did have to call for a follow-up, which turned out to be a failing capacitor. Robert was dispatched again, and he got us squared away. EE and AHS were great to work with.

I have been with this company since they started and they are the BEST! Super smart, know exactly what they are doing, never just guessing at what your problem is. They never oversell you and actually have told me I needed less than what another company installed. Very nice, professional technicians who are on time and communicate the whole way. If cheap is what you want, don’t bother but you get what you pay for. This company will give you the best work for a fair price. I recommend highly!

I almost deleted the original notification that it was time for our winter inspection as SPAM because the number was not named, but fortunately I responded and all was well after that. Robert did a good job.

We have used Efficiency Experts to replace the original A/C systems that we installed when the house was built. Quality of install was great and made improvements to the duct work to distribute the air better. Just now the blower motor on one unit was not working with the furnace. They came out the same day, diagnosed the issue, made the fix, and checked everything else out. The tech Robert explained everything clearly and was very professional. Great work.

I worked with another vendor that came to my home six times and could not repair my air conditioner. The dealings with other company was horrible. If they gave a time, they arrived either before or after that allotted time. If they said they were going to call us, they never did and we had to call them. When they referred us to Efficiency Experts I was understandably concerned and apprehensive. The previous company stated they would call within 24 hours and they did. They followed up and made sure we werre home to complete their repairs.The serviceman, Todd, they sent to my home took two days and maybe 3 hours. He had to come back because he didn’t have the part. When he installed it that took less than an hour. Todd was polite, informative, and professional. I was not concerned about my safety with him being in my home. I had 911 on speed dial with the ither company.If I have any other issues with my, they will be my preferred company.

I got my service through American Home Shield. Ray was very professional and very nice! He was able to pinpoint what my A/C issue was and fixed it right away. Todd and everyone at Efficiency Experts have come to our rescue numerous times for AC issues! Todd is so knowledgeable about air flow! First let me start by saying that as a home owner here in Houston, our AC is very important to us. When we had a thunder storm roll through a week ago and caused several power issues in my area, I got to power cycle all of the systems in the house. When the AC didnt come back on as expected I started looking for causes. All of the blower were coming on and it sounded about right except it was very loud. I reluctantly got my home warrantee company to give me a list of AC contractors in our area. The top one Efficiency Air Conditioning. I chose them. They were very accommodating with our schedule and Taylor was wonderful keeping me informed of the progress. Ray was scheduled out and arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He quickly found the issue with the system. Found out it was caused by the construction going on in our house for the last 2 weeks. We got to stay in a hotel for a night because Ray was getting the part needed. To say that our AC is now running well is such an understatement. I am so impressed with everyone at Efficiency Air Conditioning, they will now be my go to people for anything Air Conditioning.

When the technician came out, he went straight to the problem source and immediately saw the problem. We scheduled to fix the issue, and have had a wonderfully running AC that we haven’t had for some time, off and on. Needless to say we wish Efficiency Experts were here several calls ago, meaning they would have had the problem fixed a lot sooner instead of a different company that came out originally. We recently moved to Cypress and purchased a home. While we had the inspection, Todd with Efficiency Experts came out and did an excellent job inspecting our HVAC system. When we had purchased the home, he and his team came in and replaced our entire system in about four hours. He identified a few low-cost changes that could be made to make our home more energy efficient, and it has made a huge difference in our home! Our unit is quiet, efficient, and has helped reduce our electric bill. The crew was tidy, professional, courteous and quick. Couldn’t ask for a better company. My tech was great! His name is Rodolfo and he was extremely knowledgeable. His ability to identify the problem was on point. Replacement parts were on his truck and the problem was fixed immediately. Arrived on time. Prices were very reasonable!

We called Efficiency Experts and Cindy took my call. Cindy was extremely pleasant and intently listened to my issue. She scheduled us for the following day, which we really appreciated.Todd Fokken, owner of Efficiency Experts AC & Heating, came to our home on time, very punctual. I explained to Todd that we had this unit for six months and it has not functioned properly, literally since day one and we had lost total confidence in the original installer. The heating unit has a heat pump and apparently it is more difficult to install than a furnace. Todd inspected the thermostat and quickly found that the wiring was connected wrong. Then, when he went to the attic more issues were found. Needless to say, we rarely used this unit because we did not feel safe or at ease. Basically, our AC unit was not installed up to code.Todd gave us a fair estimate to repair and bring it up to code. Him and his crew came by and fixed the rewiring and other issues from the original installation. We requested all new duct replacement and we couldnt be happier with the results. Our vents are now blowing air more quietly, the outside unit is also quieter, and Todd even programed the thermostat with my phone with bluetooth, AMAZING!!!!Todd and his crew are total professionals and of course, it all starts with Cindy. Cindy set the tone because of her kindness, understanding and listening skills. I am extremely impressed with Efficiency Experts from top to bottom. We HIGHLY recommend Efficiency Experts, because of their honesty, fair prices, and professionalism.

Todd and his team did a great job for us. Our home has two ac units and 1 went out. Called American Home Shield and they sent out the crew from Effciency Experts. After exhaustively reviewing my very strange AC set-up (there was a fair amount of “redneck” engineering with my existing set-up— causing it to be very expensive and inefficient to run) Todd and the team decided the best course of action was to replace both units. They worked with American Homeshield to provide very fair pricing (I did actually get three quotes and they were more than 50% cheaper than the next best proposal.) The system has now been in for a week and is working wonderfully. Todd even came back a few days after the install to check on how the units were doing and to fine tune some vent placements. I could not be more please with the service and highly recommend this company.

It’s June in Houston and my central air is going out!! Need I say more? I scheduled my appointment through American Home Shield at 6:09 pm on Wednesday. My problem was resolved before 1:00 pm the next day! Our technician, Ray, was prompt, professional and thorough. I would highly recommend this company!

An appointment was set up with them through American Home Shield as our upstairs was not cooling properly. The appointment was scheduled and we received a reminder call prior to his arrival. Let me say, first of all, we have been advised by several other companies that our only real solution would be to replace both units. Our technician today, Rudy, fixed the issue, which was the capacitor, not the complete system. Upon hearing from us that a couple of our bedrooms werent cooling, he even took the extra step and checked our duct work. He found that the ducts leading to these rooms had some kinks in them which prevented adequate air flow. To say we are delighted with Rudy and your company would be an understatement. We will definitely use and recommend your company to others, with orwithout using the warranty. Thank you again.

Rodolfo Perez provided professional, prompt, service. He diagnosed the problem, explained what needed to be done and completed the repair within an hour. Once the technician was dispatched, I received a text that opened to a Web page showing the name, picture and time before he arrived. High recommend this company.

Ray came out to look at our unit that is pretty old. He gave us a quote for a new system, didnt try to upsell anything unnecessary, and did full maintenance on our current unit. I highly recommend him for maintenance and quotes!

As a general contractor Ive dealt with various companies over the years. Most guys Ive come accross are just part swappers. Dealing with Todd at Efficiency Experts over the course of a few years now Ive really come to appreciate his expertise and knowledge as a real technician. He and his crew are great to work with and a refreshing change from the the average company that really have no clue about air flow dynamics and ductwork design. Which is in my opinion 90% of the A/C system as far as energy efficiency goes. They also really take the time to educate my customers on their systems and the importance of air flow in their home. Todd and his crew totally re-engineered the duct work on my 18 year old home to ensure maximum performance of the new units, and also ensuring maximum energy efficiency including Wi-Fi enabled thermostats that can be programmed easily from your smart phone and controlled remotely. They also installed top of the line air registers to ensure optimum air distribution in each room. This company is our go-to for HVAC needs. Great customer service at the office. They get to your house quick (which is nice during a heatwave). Constant Communication. No surprise bills. Technically capable - even with the latest SmartHome Thermostats.We had them install & setup 3 Ecobee units in our house. They have fully replaced one HVAC unit and have overhauled another (which was still under warranty).

We came home from being the weekend to find one of our A/C units was blowing hot. Called them first thing in the morning and left a message. A very nice Tiffany promptly returned my call and was able to schedule Todd to come and look at our unit. Within 3 hours of the call....our A/C was blowing cold again. Great customer service!!!

I use this company after another company had replace my heating system in a little over 10 years ago and everything was coming loose and billing up mold in the Plenum,missing the drip leg,mastic seal and increase my return flow and they were much more reasonable than the other company and did a better job with installation.
