I cannot explain how grateful I am to have contacted American Pro AC to come service my home. I was quoted thousands of dollars by other AC companies to do unnecessary work that wouldn’t address the root issue of humidity. Donnie came and immediately found the issue and it was a simple fix without the need to pay thousands, my home already feels so much cooler. The American Pro AC is excellent! I requested a visit on Sunday and within an hour a technician was at the door. 45 min later the problem was fixed and voila! We have a cool bedroom again. Highly recomend it, professional, efficiant and reasonable.

Cannot recommend Hamad and American Pro AC enough. You can tell that they care deeply about their work and are committed to solving your HVAC needs. We had lost hope that our house would ever be cool during the summer. Wed set the thermostat to 75 and the coolest it would get would be 78 (but more like 80+ on the hottest days). American Pro AC just finished up their work today, and were already seeing 74 degrees, AND it actually feels COLD. Highly, highly recommend, and thank you again so much!!

Hurricane Beryl knocked out my power. When power was restored, my AC was blowing warm air, but not cooling. I called American Pro right when they opened. Judy answered and suggested I try resetting the breaker. I loved that they tried to save me an onsite visit. She followed up shortly and I said it still wasn’t cooling, so she booked a technician to arrive within 2-3 hours! Hamad arrived early and quickly found the problem and fixed it. Absolutely great experience from scheduling to the technician (Alan) coming out. Will definitely use this company again for any maintenance/issues in the future. They arent going to come upsell/try to rip you off which unfortunately is how too many companies operate today.

Jason came out and serviced our AC/Heating system and made a few recommendations. Jason was on time, professional, and very friendly. He explained in detail and made suggestions that could be done to make our system more efficient, better filtration, and how to protect from power surges. I decided to upgrade the filtration system(Cleaner air) in the house and added surge protectors. The next day Jason and American Pro crew showed up on time and they completed the work in a couple hours. While they were there they fixed the condensation overflow for the house. IMHO the previous install done by another company should have done a better job on the condensation overflow. Very happy with American Pro AC. Highly recommend.

Called on a Sunday evening around 5 or 6 pm when our ac went out and Jason was able to come out and was here by 7pm the same day! He was able to get our ac working while the part was being ordered so we wouldnt be without ac which is very important in this Texas heat!

We inherited 2 non efficient systems when we bought this house 6 years ago. 3 companies and countless technicians later, American Pro identified our problems within one visit. We knew we needed at least 1 new unit but they helped us understand options for the other one and solutions for long term EFFICIENT cooling. We did go with 2 new units instead of practically rebuilding a unit that was past its half life (at a better price than 1 other company…didn’t have other companies quote) but they also realized mistakes with our duct work, return air, and drainage that should have been addressed long ago by any of the other technicians that came before them (those repairs were also included in the quote that the other company did not acknowledge/quote) . So knowledgable, helpful and kind. Not one moment of upsell or service memberships pushed on us. They are some of the most positive and optimistic technicians we have ever worked with.

WOW - I was having problems with my Nest thermostats and I called at 11:30 am for a service appointment. Jason was at the house by 2pm the same day YAY! He was very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly and fixed the problem asap. Very happy customer...

AC stopped cooling on the Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend in this Texas heat. Called first thing Sunday morning and got an appointment for 10 am. Hamad arrived and he was so quick, so professional, so honest, and gave an affordable price to fix the broken capacitators in my unit. He even showed me vents that were facing the wrong direction and sent me links on where to get new ones and put them on myself. Previous AC repairmen have tried to sell me on replacing my damper/zone system but Hamad assured me the unit is fine and just needed some tweaks to the way the damper was set up. It was a blessing to find this place and I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you!

The team was on time, professional and offered excellent service. They made sure we had all the information needed to make the best decision. The work was completed and I would definitely recommend others to use this business. On top of the excellent repair service, the team checked on another issue that had been going on in our home since it was built. The issue was that the master would be hot in summer and cold in winter. We were thinking it was a major issue but they checked it for us and found that the builders had never opened the damper. The room had never received any air for 13 years. Other A/C specialist were recommending replacing the whole system without trying a simple solution.

Had some issues recently with our AC and would have normally gone through our home warrantys contractors for repair. But, as usual two days had gone by and I still had not been slated for an appointment. At that point I did some research and decided to give American Pro a shot. The reviews they received online gave me reason to be optimistic. These reviews turned out to be very valuable and accurate. Hamad and his team came out within 3 hours of my request, diagnosed my problem within 30 minutes and then went through the options in an honest and up front manner. I ended up opting to replace the entire AC system for our upstairs area. The installers came on time, were very respectful of my home (laid out carpet protectors, used foot coverings, etc) and did a great job. I would highly recommend American Pro for your AC/Heating needs. They are now my go to guys when I have issues.

American Pro installed and helped us set up two Nest smart thermostats in our home. The cost of installation was very reasonable, less expensive than the BigBox retailer where we purchased the thermostats. We were able to get same day service - greatly appreciated.The technician was knowledgeable, and easily installed the devices and connected them to our older HVAC control systems - no C wire. We appreciated his patience as he walked us through the app set up and showed us the features of the thermostats.

So far Ive gotten a chance to meet Hamad, Donny, and Jason at American Pro, and each time theyve been to my house (3 times so far), theyve been on time, friendly, and professional. Ive never waited more than 24 hours for a service call, and theyve consistently communicated in advance exactly when theyd arrive, which is crucial for clients with a busy schedule.The HVAC system in my house has had trouble since the day I moved in. Its an older system and it was never properly configured when it was first installed, so it has some issues -- particularly with circulating air effectively. Each time theyve been out, the American Pro team has taken the time to troubleshoot, discussion options, and implement simple and cost-effective solutions. Each time theyve left, my system has operated more efficiently than it did before. If anybody needs ac work done or especially any kind of replacement, you’ve GOT TO CALL THESE GUYS! it’s a locally owned company and when I say they’re all about their customer service, I mean they are ALL ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE! i don’t know that i’ve ever had better service or worked with nicer people. let me elaborate.…we noticed our house starting to warm up around 7 pm last night. we all know how hot it is in houston, so we were willing to pay after hours pricing to have our home cooled while we slept. we made some calls around 7:30 pm and went with abacus. we were told someone would be here before midnight. after calling them back to confirm our appointment several times, someone finally showed up at midnight on the dot. he took a quick look and told us we needed to replace our external unit, gave us a quote of $7,000, and said parts wouldn’t be here for a couple days….he also charged us $150 for coming out after hours.worried about being stuck in this heat for 2 days, I made some late night calls to a few other companies and left voicemails. one company, American Pro, actually called me back 5 mins later—at 1:30 this morning! I could tell he had been sleeping, but he was very polite none the less. I told him we needed someone to come out first thing in the morning to give us a quote. there was no mention of a service fee for coming out if we didn’t use them for repairs or replacement. he scheduled the appt first thing this morning.the guy who came this morning took a look around and agreed we needed to replace the external until. not only was his HIGHEST quote $2,600 cheaper than the quote last night, it also included a HUGE upgrade to what we had as well as a warranty that was 2 years longer than the first company’s.and here’s the best part….they’re already replacing the unit-TODAY! we will be cooling in a few hours!I started talking to the young man who sold us the unit (and who is working hard now on the replacement) and discovered a few more things about this amazing company….American Pro is a locally owned company who sincerely puts the customers needs FIRST. their truck says “call today, cool today,” and that’s exactly what they do…BUT THEY DO SO MUCH MORE!**their normal service fee of $75 is typically waived on a regular business day…even if you don’t use them. that $75 is what american pro charges for after hours and holiday calls…that is unless you use American pro for whatever work needs to be done—in which case there is no after hours service charge! so even if you call on cmas day and they come out…and do the work…there will be no charge for their after hours OR holiday work!**they save and utilize/donate “scratch and dent” units (they call these “911 units”) for situations when the need arises. they cannot sell these units to the public, but rather than just trash them to clear up space, they hold the the units for situations such as these:~a single mom’s unit stopped working.she could in no way afford a new one.the guys at american pro GAVE herone of their 911 units! they also GAVEher the labor that accompaniedinstalling it!~a family wanted a specific kind ofunit-a fancy, super big unit-andamerican pro had to order it. this wason a thursday or friday, and the newunit was not arriving until monday.american pro did not want to leavethe family in the heat over theweekend bc they advertise “call today,cool today.” so they went and installedone of the 911 units as a temporary fixuntil the new unit arrived…of course atno additional cost!so if anybody needs any ac repair or replacement work done, these are the guys to call!!!AMERICAN PRO IS AMAZING! I had Hamad and his team come out and instal two complete HVAC systems; the compressor outside, heater, air handler, and all the ductwork in the attic. Hamad was very responsive before I commit to anything and was friendly, informative, and flexible. His pricing and payment options were fair. The entire system was done pretty quickly and looks great. So far everything has been working great and I feel ready to face the coming scorching summer. Even once he had finished he is still very quick to respond to any follow up questions I have to ensure everything continues to work well. American pro air conditioning also had the best warranty out of all the proposal I received, 5 in total.

I could not have asked for a more thorough assessment and diagnosis of the multiple HVAC problems I had going on in my old house. After interviewing multiple HVAC companies, there was no question, this company knew what they were doing and were going to fix it the right way, no short cuts. They could have scrapped all the old and put in new because it was so bad, but they worked with what I had and were able to get the home cool again and our upstairs livable and comfortable. They also did extra things for me to ensure things worked properly and educated me on the system in place, I cannot express how thankful I am to have found this company after MANY evaluations by other HVAC companies that claim they are #1. Located parts assembled a team of repair men and completed job in 3 hours ac is cooling like new these guys run a smooth operation.

After the work was completed, Hamad walked me through the new installation, which was all done to perfection and aesthetically pleasing as well. America Pro AC came out and did a unit inspection and found the Evaporator Coil on my (3 Ton) unit to be going out which was still under warranty. There were able to confirm that and had it change out with no problem. As a Courtesy to the other unit (2 Ton) some freon was added to bring is up to full. The job was left clean and everything is working well. A small two thumbs up for a small working company.

Was able to get same-day service to check on a vent that was not getting airflow. The technician, Jason, was friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to quickly identify the problem and fixed it on the spot. Will definitely be using American Pro again! Excellent value and service.

He and his team fixed the vents and ducts that were installed incorrectly by the builder. Then they came back to install thermostat and added new panel. I saw that water was collecting in my a/c drip pan. Called a few a/c companies to see what the issue was. These were the assessment and costs.1. Costco - replacement of a/c: $15,0002. Air Express - replacement of Condenser, Coil and change Baffle System: $13,0003. Horn Services - replace Coil and Baffle System: $2,500American Pro - found a clogged Condensate Drain: $449!They are honest and nice folks to deal with. Came out within an hour in August! HIGHLY recommend.

If you want a winning experience with any aspect of your home A/C call American Pro! American Pro replaced my A/C. The work was done at a great price. They relocated the unit in the attic for better serviceability and better access to the rest of my attic. They also blew in more attic insulation. Overall everything I wanted and expected was achieved. Very happy!

Hamad swung by early this weekend right on time as promised. We needed an estimate for work to move a thermostat from one part of the house to the other. He recommended the best solution to our problem which was a wireless remote sensor as it would be most effective solution in both price and convenience. All we needed for our current set up was a 35 Dollar remote sensor as we already had a a 4th generation Google nest installed. Thanks Hamad! You are a Prince among men!

Donny was referred to us for his honesty and professionalism. He surpassed our expectations! We just had a brand new unit installed and it was not working properly. The company that installed refused to come back and take a look at it since it had been over 30 days of installation so he came in and fixed the problem in about 30 minutes on the same day that I called him! I can’t stress how happy and grateful we are that people like him still exist!!

I am absolutely floored by the quality and timely work Hamad and his team pulled off. Having my Condenser and coil fully replaced, I expected to be sitting in a hot house all day. But before I was able to even notice a rise in temperature the work was done! I was able to get my house gas furnace’s gal valve replaced and start running heat again.
