They installed a top-notch air purifier filtering out Houston’s air, which, let’s be real, is as hazardous as a taco fart trapped in Mazda Miata. They also added a new return vent with precision, keeping our AC humming like a champ. And in this insufferable Houston heat, a working AC isn’t just nice—it’s the difference between living and melting into a sweaty puddle. 10/10, would recommend to anyone who likes breathing and not roasting!

After gathering quotes from several HVAC companies, I ended up selecting Mr. Reliable Heating and Air, mainly due sincerity and good communication I received from the owner. Long story short, I had a 3 ton and a 2 ton unit installed and Im extremely impressed with their work! A new installation is definitely a big expense for any homeowner, but I would encourage you to consider giving them the opportunity above all other competition - Im fully confident you will be very pleased with your investment! These guys went above and beyond to far exceed my expectations. Youll notice my return vent shown in one of the pictures provided on this review... that wasnt even listed on the scope of work, yet they included it for free since the existing return was restricting air flow. We just had an emergency with our AC. this evening. We inherited our AC and the warranty from our homes previous owners. They wanted $350 for an emergency technician this evening and the money would not even go towards the cost of fixing the problem.When we call this company, they got Daniel to come out in less than 30 minutes. Had such a great experience! My AC stopped working and I came home to 86 degrees and was panicking. Alan was dispatched out and was so polite and helpful. Extremely professional company run by a true expert. The owner, Drew, spent hours of his own time at my house studying my system to devise a thoughtful repair plan. He couldve easily tried to sell me an entirely new installation, but worked hard to salvage the existing system which was a challenge.

We recently moved from Georgia to Spring, TX. With the purchasing of the house, It was a included a full year of services/Warranty with one of those home shield protection services companies for the existing equipment and appliances in this house.Everything was fine, until the fall of 2023 when we put in service the central heating system. We immediately notice that this unit was not working properly. When it was on, it kept shutting down before reaching the settled temperature, and starting again after a few more minutes, and shutting down again. Actually, it was cycling on and off without ever reaching the desire temperature. Then, we contacted this home shield company to report and schedule an inspection and repair of our heater. Well, the experience we had with this home shield company was not a very pleasant one. After talking??? Always with an automating answering system, we experienced several weeks of frustration. Then after three different visits/inspections at our home by two different HVAC companies, and some annoyance, trials, failures, and lots of guessing, finally they “apparently” corrected the issue.After these disappointing misadventures with this home shield company, we decided to look for options for a reliable HVAC company. I asked for and advise to my son who lives in the Houston area, and is in the field of property management. He recommended me to call Mr. Reliable Heating and Air, and I did. I had a very nice and informative conversation experience with Christine at this company, Pricing for a yearly contract was fair, and definitely of value for money. So I scheduled my first visit and signed my yearly contract. This spring I scheduled my spring tune up and it was done with punctuality and Efficiency.Yesterday, and thinking ahead of time, I inquired by email about some recommendations written in their past service report, to be addressed during the next fall. And also some personal technical concerns of mine in my heating system. Well, their response came fast and very clear! Drew Gay, took the time to answer and explain in detail my questions and concerns. Appointment reminders, a picture and bio of the technician they were sending, GPS tracking of the technician on his way to the house (he was actually 10 minutes early), and great communication and explanation of issues with my system. Daniel came out from Mr Reliable today and repaired my A/C for 289 dollars after I was quoted 8500 dollars from the Valentine that does the folksy commercials on TV.. I also bought the 99 dollar membership fee because I want them for my AC and heating company forever!!!!!

Whew! Spun the wheel and got lucky with these guys. Andy is FANTASTIC. We did not feel like we were being taken advantage of. Yes, a new compressor is expensive, but these guys knew what they were doing. Found that compressor blew out due to a lightning strike next door. Added a surge protector and did not push us into anything.Glad we found Mr Reliable. Highly recommended!

My family had our whole AC system fail us this past Saturday morning and we stumbled upon Mr. Reliables contact information. Called and one of their associates came out to our house 3 hours later, diagnosed the issue (ended up needing a whole new condenser and coil system) and came out Monday morning at 9am to completely replace and fix the problem at 12pm.The whole crew was a pleasure to deal with - professional, courteous, and knowledgable. I feel like the pricing for the AC unit and coils plus labor and supplies were not price gouged either. Plus we now have a 10 year warranty on our AC which gives us peace.Couldnt go wrong with this company! Very happy customers.

Stefan showed up on time for our service call, and once complete, he spent some additional time educating us on possible fixes in the future regarding our ductwork. He didnt try to upsell us on anything and left it up to us on what we wanted to add to our system. Thats not very common and I really appreciate it. My tech help me to find a gas leak that I thought was in my kitchen. He checked around the hot water tank in the garage and actually spotted a pipe that was leaking water. He also found the gas leak in my kitchen. He was very helpful.
