Amazing service! I was in a pinch trying to find someone who could fix the smallest issue with my car, and while every other mechanic I called told me they couldnt help until Monday (this was a Friday afternoon) Rafael was kind enough to have me swing by and at least take a look. Not even 5 minutes later I was on my way out :) Cant thank him enough and his excellent customer service.

He is a wonderful person to begin with. He listens to your concerns, diagnoses the issues and fixes them. He is respectful and courteous and does an excellent job.

Brought in my Honda Accord expecting a substantial repair bill for my AC. Rafael looked at my car and said it just needed to be serviced. Air is nice and cold and the work was fairly priced. Honesty is what keeps customers coming back and he’s very trustworthy.

When I tell you the customer service is top tier. I didn’t feel rushed over the phone or once I got there. Being a woman its hard to find places that explain and thats patient with you. Highly recommended!

I have to say that J & I Automotive is the place to take your vehicle for any repairs. Best mechanic in town. He is very generous, detail, and knows his work. He has done outstanding work on my car and offer to come to my house to check my battery as my car would not start, and to find out I needed a new battery. Recently I refer my son n law to get his ball joints replaced and he did an exceptional job on his car as well. My daughter and son n law were very happy with his work and will be back. If I could give you a 10 I would. Thank you Rafael for all you do.

Came in for a scheduled tune-up got Auto parts in stock and in a snap was done and in and out in less than 2 hours, my car runs better than it has in a long time, Coming back to get the AC tuned up.

I saw J & I Automotive on local pages before and the business was also recommended to me by a friend, so I decided to give them a try. I called ahead to ask if I could bring my car in to have some noises diagnosed. Sometimes I expect intimidation tactics due to prior experiences, but pleasantly, I found a very approachable and helpful man waiting to take my car for a drive to listen to it. Rafael has a friendly demeanor, is knowledgeable, and went over solutions for my problem. Traits like he displays are important for me to build trust in handing my vehicle over for repair. It’s easy to see that the owner builds a rapport with most clients. As far as atmosphere, it has a local feel and reminds me of places I tagged along to with my dad. I’ll suggest you try local, try J & I Automotive.

Late post. I was having brake issues for months that I couldn’t figure out. I decided to support local businesses so I came by in the morning to have it looked at and worked on depending the issue. Rafael diagnosed the issue and explained every step. While working on my car he made sure to answer other customers questions and kept the conversations to a minimal. Once he was done with my car my brakes were working like brand new! Friendly, affordable, great customer service. Highly recommend!

I was hearing noises coming from my car that ended up being my( water pump & timing chain)I called around to get help, but couldnt find anyone to help me. I eventually found this place, and Im glad that I did. Rafael was so nice and caring, he got my car in the next day. He kept me updated with my car and the prices were good as well. J&I is now my new automotive shop. Rafael is honest,fair, and very personable. His work was excellent, completed when promised and at the price discussed. After 20 years with my previous mechanic, I was skeptical about finding a new shop I could trust without a personal recommendation. Based on reviews and personal discernment , I’m confident in my choice after several encounters via phone and in person.I would also refer this shop to others as well.

I reached to Rafael about my truck that needed a lot of maintenance after sitting for a whole year on not being used. He is very respectful, honest and does an amazing job. The quote I received was reasonable. My truck is finally back to running like it was before. I will most definitely will be referring J&I to my family and friends.

I found the shop after issues I had with trying to get oil change at at another place. I went without calling a head and was able to get and out quickly. Price was very reasonable and service atmosphere was great. They have a customer for life now!

I had the pleasure of getting my ‘07 Volvo serviced at this shop. After coming in with many theories of why my wheel was smoking, the shop owner, Rafael, reassured me that he would take a look extensively at my calipers and brakes. (This is after I received a wonderful quote and had been in communication via email for an appointment.)Throughout the service period, I was provided timely updates to what was discovered, and even provided updated estimates to my original quote. This helped me remain at ease (I have had bad experiences of going in for one issue and providing a list of unnecessary repairs). My service was completed in a short period of time (complete brake job, buffed headlights, replace lightbulbs, diagnostic test for check engine light). I could not be more thrilled with the transparency and service I received today!The team over at J&I Automotive take pride in their work. Grateful I was able to get my car diagnostic done and repaired within the same day at a fair price! This is my only vehicle so time is of the essence for me. This is not my first time here. I needed some work done on my Honda Civic estimated at $300 in the dealership. So on Yelp i found J&I automotive and gave them a try. Rafael the owner was true to his word and charged me $85 compare to the $300 from the dealership for the same quality. After that he advice me on other things the car might need but never pressure me about it instead he was strictly professional and honest. Definetly going back!

Went into the shop thinking I might have a transmission problem because I was hearing a loud, grinding noise around the engine. Rafael did a transmission diagnostic and advised to me (honestly) that it was not the transmission and mentioned (after doing a test drive) that it sounds like a heat shield issue. He was honest about the whole issue and wasnt trying to get more money out of me.In addition to me walking into the shop for what I thought was a transmission issue, I had asked Rafael to take a look under the car to see if there were other things that needed to be fixed since I knew from a previous mechanic friend who mentioned that the car needed some repairs, such as the oil gasket pan leak.J&I Automotive provided a breakdown estimate to repair the oil gasket pan leak, arm control and a windshield jet issue I had mentioned to be looked at. A breakdown estimate was provided so that I could have the choice to have the work done in parts, or all at once because it could get costly to fix a car. (Had the repair done all at one time because the estimate wasnt outrageous and was reasonable.)Left the shop as a satisfied customer. Service was exceptional and professional. Definitely would recommend others to check out J&I Automotive.

I highly recommend this shop! He is local and very trustworthy. Rafael is someone you can count on, if you have any car issues he will take care of you. I have gone to other shops and mechanics and so far he tops and even surpasses them. Give J&I a try!

My mom has a very old car that needs quite a bit of Maintenance. I no longer have the time available to work on it myself. He has been able to keep her vehicle running and explain to her the issues that need her attention. He has been her Guardian Mechanic that has helped her in her time of need, because he takes the time to make himself available when she needs help or has a question. Thank you so very much. Went in today for a diagnostic check on my car and Rafael was very informative and completely honest with the problems involving my car. This was my first time here and I felt very comfortable going there and will be going again if I run into any more car problems in the future!

I have used this place twice. They answer all my questions and I dont feel talked down to. They charge the amount they quote. Best part is, my vehicle is fixed afterwards!

I had my driver side headlight not working, the important detail is that only the main bulb had stop functioning so I was avoiding having to change the whole piece, as that would be more expensive, and so I asked Mr. Colon how much for changing that part only, after giving me the price he said he will take a look first to se what type it was and finds that the bulb was loose and all it needed was to be tighten, and just like that In a matter of minutes he helped me avoid spending a couple of hundred bucks.

Really fair price and very knowledgeable with what he does, helped with the things we would’ve never guessed was wrong with it. 10/10 would recommend this place if you’re looking for car repair.
