Jackson Air & Heat

We have had great service using the team at Jackson Air and heat. They installed at AC system and we use them for service as well. Jorge recently repaired our heater and he was friendly and helpful. Called and got same day service to repair the heater before the big freeze hit us.

Alex has several safety checks he goes through. He took time to educate me on the many safety features and processes in my furnace. I have had the furnace for 20 years and I did not know a lot of those things! He does a great job and you can learn a lot from him. Most importantly, he keeps my family safe with his diligence.

I had my new HVAC system installed today. The team was here all day and did a great job getting everything set up and explaining how everything works. Highly recommend!!

They provided same day service to our call for our AC System check. Jorge R. was very helpful, proactively adding a valve to our attic AC System and advising we needed to replace one of our capacitors. Will continue to have them service our AC / Heat System; and will continue to recommend them.

We had another great experience today with Jackson A&H. We had our annual service performed, and they recommended repairing a part and provided an estimate to do so. This is a great company with great service technicians who are always informative and helpful. The technicians offer recommendations based on what they see during the time of their service, but they dont push anything or pressure you to purchase any additional services.

I called and made an appointment with the nicest service representative. Their technician Brian Jackson, arrived right on time. He was an expert and quickly found the problems. He resolved the issue with no difficulty. After completing the repair, he gave me recommendations for future repairs and maintenance. He was very professional, and seemed to have no problem with me following him around asking questions about his work. All while he explained what he was doing and what he was looking for. 10/10 would recommend. I love a family business.

Jackson replaced all of our 30 yr old duct work in 2 days. The team did a great job and was very efficient and professional. They covered our newly installed wood floor upstairs to ensure it would not be impacted. I was impressed with level of cleanup they provided, and they even asked to use our vacuum cleaner to get up all the residue. The new duct work looks great, and will provide added efficiency to our systems. We have used Jackson for years, and love their service and professionalism. Thank you Jackson!

My mom is a customer of Jackson Air. David has been here three times during my visit this week. Exceptional technician. Mom has received exceptional service on every visit. Side note - the three visits did NOT have anything to do with work done by Jackson Air! Two were related to older equipment and one was to reinstall a thermostat that was installed incorrectly as a DIY.

I spoke with a very helpful rep on the phone that sent David out in as little as an hour. Jorge Ramirez came out and found my blower mower and drain pan were in need of replacement. He came back today and replaced both parts and did an excellent job. Since we have been experiencing more powere surges and outages this year, Jorge also explained how these events can negatively impact HVAC systems. Jackson Heat and Air is reliable, responsive, and gives great service. I highly recommend them and Jorge.Update: Jorge did maintenance check on my system for summer. The Tech, David Ayala, came in and went to work immediately. He explained what was wrong then proceeded to make repairs.

I have used Jackson Air & AC a few times now for our AC unit. From the answering service to the technicians, they are professional, knowledgeable, and fair. They take care of the issue and don’t try to upsell you an entire system like some AC companies that I have called out. It is hard to find a great AC company that is fair and honest. Jackson Air technician arrived on time. JA sends a text to alert their customer that team is enroute. Billing is handled electronically; no more paper forms and chicken-scratch notes! Checks and credit cards accepted. Invoice is emailed the same day to record the transaction. Top quality work, products and staff--thats why I keep calling Jackson Air & Heat for all my a/c and furnace issues.

Jackson air and heat have recently installed a 5 ton AC system for my upstairs. They have been very professional and very helpful during the process. The team troubleshooted a small error initially and were very diligent throughout the installation process. Highly recommended!!

26-Feb2025 Update: Rather than wait for failure to happen at the worst time, we want to make sure we’re ready for the coming Texas heat, so we called Jackson A&H to change filters, testand top off our two big Trane systems. Technician Jorge came on time and did his usual excellent job to change all the filters, fill and check all the parts of the system.2024: We’ve been happy customers of Jackson for over two generations (Mr Jackson then his son)! Saved us lots of money and worry during tough weather events (Freezes and Hurricanes as well as highest recorded temperatures). We love the quiet efficient variable speed Trane A/Cs too.The center of Hurricane Beryl hit us on July 8, 2024. We lost power for 5 days. Finally, when power came back on, we had lightning storms and power surges. One of our AC units didnt come back on-line. Next day, Jacksons technician, Jorge, came on-time. He looked exactly like his photo that Jackson sent ahead of time for our security. Jorge quickly found and fixed our AC problem. He also recommended surge protectors that Jackson can install to help protect our AC units from lightning and electric power spikes that we are sure will happen again.

David was punctual, responsive and respectful during his visit.Did what was required and when I asked him if he would jet the ac drain , that previous tech in the spring had forgotten, he did the work without asking for an additional charge.Which is what I would have expected from a reputable company, like Jackson Air.We have been repeat customers for several years.When I asked for the old caps he had removed , he didnt hesitate to provide them for future spares.Great tech. Jackson Air & Heat came out today to replace a two speed compressor on my a/c unit. The compressor had 21 days left on a 10 year warranty.This company is the best a/c company I have ever worked with. Following Hurricane Beryl - surge protectors did there job but needed to be replaced- and a motor failure also needed attention- As Jackson Air has done over the past 5 years- service was fast and complete! Jackson Air is a wonderful company to deal with. We had them install a new A/C and gas heater years ago and they have been servicing it and doing other duct work for us since. Our recent experience was a gas leak to our house (nothing to do with heater). We had it repaired by a plumbing company. Their work passed inspection, but the inspector said we needed a new, taller flue pipe on our roof to vent heater “per code”. Alex Salinas came out to assess situation, and came back later in the day with a crew and they fixed and replaced pipe in 30 minutes! The inspector returned today and we passed inspection and can get our gas turned on! Thanks to Alex and the wonderful staff at Jackson Air!

Jackson was over today for the biennial preventative maintenance of this system that they installed 4 years ago. It remains in perfect condition. Very happy with the quality of their work from initial installation through to today.Addendum: we had Jackson install UV light disinfection systems for us today. They were fast and efficient; took photos of the install after they were done. Again very pleased with their work.

Alex was very professional and thorough. He corrected two issues that the other Company I had been using never let me know that I had issues, leak pipe was not secure and the overflow apparatus was not connected to the overflow pan, but was by the overflow pan. Thank you, Alex.

Weve been using Jackson Air for several years. They are always prompt and very helpful whenever we need help with our AC or heater. We have them come out every summer to do an AC check. In very short order, the replacement part was installed, and the display is now reading properly. I should add that between the two visits, Brian was able to setup the system where we still had heat. That was most appreciated as outside temperatures were in the low 40s several nights.

Jackson installed both of our heat/AC units (for less than several other companies we called), the upstairs unit a zoned unit, and they fully support them after installation whenever we have any (minor) issues. A/C is important in Houston, and we are very happy with how well our units have worked, how efficient they are, and how theyve kept the house comfortable without being noisy! There was never any push for added services or unexpected costs. Although the units went out of warranty, we continue to use them because of how friendly, professional, and prompt they are when we call them. Highly recommended!Update 2023/09: We just had a starter capacitor fail on a compressor, and they were here the same day we called and fixed it for a very reasonable price! Still highly recommended!

Jorge Ramirez conducted the annual check on my AC unit. He was very professional, thorough and checked every box. He made suggestions and answered all of my questions.

Alex, was knowledgeable, timely, & professional. He even helped us understand our thermostat and A/C functions better.

Upstairs AC unit was not cooling to the control set point temperature in the afternoon. Brian (service person from Jackson Air & Heat) noticed that tape had come off from the side of the AC unit in the attic and was blowing cold air in the attic. He re-taped the unit that fixed the leak. He cleaned the clogged drain pipes from both AC units in the attic. He added refrigerant to the AC unit as it was low on refrigerant. The AC unit is now working quite well. As in the past, very satisfied with the service provided by Brian - professional and efficient!!

Alex and his crew were very cordial and professional during there time at the residence. They made sure to lay tarps on the floor and carpet prior to starting the job and cleaned up when finished. We were informed periodically about their progress. Were very helpful when we had to download the Trane app. Also, provided us training on the software. This is the 2nd unit that Jackson installed for us. They have always been accommodating in scheduling periodic HVAC checkups. The pricing for the installation was $1000 to $2000 less 3 other companies.for the same exact Trane unit.
